The eMedia Essential Guitar Pack Includes the Best-Selling eMedia Guitar Method Software

What makes this pack so valuable is that it comes with a complete learning solution for young and old. The included best-selling eMedia Guitar Method (for Windows & Mac computers) is the winner of many awards and makes learning easy and fun. It conveniently teaches you at your own pace. It has 165 easy-to-follow comprehensive lessons authored and demonstrated by professional guitarist Kevin Garry, Ph.D. Over 50 videos guide you through basics such as tuning the guitar and playing simple chords to power chords, strumming styles and fingerpicking techniques. You'll learn modern rock strumming, how to play the blues, the bass-note strum for country tunes and much more. You'll also learn how to play melodies, read tablature and standard music notation. All this is taught in over 70 songs--it's easy. As the live recorded songs play, the Animated Fretboard shows you where to put your fingers while Music Tracking highlights the corresponding notes on the screen. The variable-speed MIDI lets you slow down any song or exercise so you can learn at your own pace. Song Looping lets you highlight and repeat any section of music you wish to practice.

eMedia Guitar Method features songs in a variety of genres to make learning fun and memorable. It includes dynamic, multi-track audio playback of hit songs popularized by well-known artists, such as:

  • "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan

Nice starter guitar kit

Reviewer: Paul Patricks,
I've always wanted to learn guitar and picked this package up because my friend really liked Emedia Guitar Method. This pack is a really good deal because it includes guitar method, a good guitar and other stuff you will need.

The guitar is pretty good for the price. I'm still learning but it is easy to play and sounds good.

The guitar method is very easy to follow along with. It starts with easy to play chords, so you are playing songs right away. On the CD is a tuner, so you can tune your guitar. The program also teaches you how to tune by ear. I've been really into it, so I'm pretty far into the lessons and am starting to learn a Stones song. As I'm getting into harder stuff, they have some great tools to help you learn. You can slow the songs down and take certain parts you are working on and create a loop to practice that part over and over until you get it.

If you are just starting out and don't have a big budget, this is a great deal.
Great product!

My son loved it. Bought it for Christmas and it was all it said in the ad.
Nicer than it appeared online

This was a gift for my son and I thought it sounded good, though it was a bit hard to tell from the online images what it would look and feel like. We are impressed on both counts. It's a nice set, with everything you need for basic lessons and protection of the instrument, and my son is really enjoying it.
Great pack to start out on

Reviewer: Dave,
I got this for my son for Christmas. I didn't want to spend too much, as you never know what kids will stick with. I play and didn't want him banging on my Taylor. When he opened in on Christmas it was a favorite. I play, so I tried out the guitar and it played fine and stayed in tune. I read through some of the other reviews and wonder if people aren't being overly critical considering this is a beginner guitar under $100. Granted, it isn't a great guitar but fine for someone starting out. Most of us start out on something basic and move one once we get the passion.

The software is what makes this pack stand out. We have been going through it together and I am quite impressed with the quality of the lessons. My parent put me in 6 years of private lessons at $30 an hour. The software included is a great start at guitar.
Perfect
