| I was a little worried about the quality of the guitar I ordered, but when I opened the box I was very pleased! Another reviewer had said the decal was not very good, but I disagree. It is embedded nicely into the guitar and has a faded look to make it look worn or vintage. I know my 3 and half year old daughter is going to be super excited when she sees this on Christmas morning!! |

| My 4 year old daughter asked Santa for a purple guitar for Christmas. She will be thrilled! Whatever problem someone else had with the graphics does not exist on the one I received in November. It's perfect for a young child and I'm very satisfied. |

A Nice Toy; Below Average Guitar

My toddler wanted a purple guitar as a birthday present and luck would have it, Disney partnered with Washburn to make this Tinkerbell guitar, in purple. The guitar is a hit and that is all that mattered to us. But I am not sure that it's really a good guitar, instrumentally.
It may be decent enough for very young children to begin learning on, but I have to say, it does not sound very good and it is hard to tune and keep in tune. I myself am a beginner and own a Les Paul electric and an Epiphone acoustic. It comes with a decent collection of accessories, including a tuning pipe, over-sized picks, an extra set of strings, and a strap. The strap is kind of a pain to put on so we just left it off.
The Disney Tinkerbell Child Sized guitar is a good value. For beginners who are not yet serious, I think this is a good toy to start out with to see if their interest level grows. If it doesn't, you didn't spend much anyways. If it does, you will probably want to upgrade the guitar. |

| My 3 yr old daughter has really wanted a guitar for some time. Found this one at Toys R Us originally and yes, the decal was all scratched up when we open the box. However, for the $$ and for a toddler, it is just perfect! She loved it and unfortunately so did her twin sister. I have now ordered this one for her sister since they all sold out of the local stores. Maybe the decal will be better on this one. Either way, it is their favorite Christmas present as they will not put it down!! |
